"Low fantasy" (orcs, elves, etc) is an over-done-to-death genre, especially for an mmo or rpg. It rarely gets a facelift.

It's a familiar setting for these types of games. Except Warhammer as more than 25 years of history. That and Warcraft predate the fame of the LotR movies by a longshot.

The ilo forum is now more for chat and it's a little difficult with the new system to operate RP there <3 But chatting is fun, and won't be there on the RP board, so stay here too D=.

I'm sticking with WoW when not at school, if that makes sense. I saw Ika's roomate playing it. There's some really nice features incorporated in the standart mmo staples.
The ability to join a battleground without talking to an npc, then at its conclusion, come back to the exact same spot you were questing was really cool. Experience from PvP also. The book thing that tracks EVERYTHING you do and encounter was a really amazing feature that I wish WoW had.

I saw the Chaos starting area, which had a cool vibe to it. Kind of half demonic/undead feel to it. Graphics engine and details were higher than WoW, but that was to be expected when compared to a game that's 5 years old.

My expectation is that with a more competetive mmo market, developpers will start to get "inspired" by other games and we'll got some fresh ideas in all those fun games that suck the life out of us. Remember, if you're playing an MMO and still talking to your friends, your doing it wrong!

Also, Death Knights, can't wait.

Anyone on here that plays Warhammer Online, I know that it just came out awhile ago, but there's bound to be someone else 'round here that picked it up, too. Joni?! JONI. Marienburg server: Ryer, LVL 7 MARAUDER.

I should ding LVL 10 by the end of tonight, woohoo! Thank god the cap LVL is only 40, still trying to figure out when you get your mount, but I assume its LVL 20. *lawlzorahroiads* Loony's a nerd, whatever. I hopped from Ultima Online, to World of Warcraft (for a long time, I might add), Guild Wars, Vanguard, Age of Conan, and now the new MMO, Warhammer Online... which is so much like World of Warcraft that it makes my heart jump for joy and beat with glee. I didn't notice how much I missed it until I played this, but I miss the Tauren, Troll, Night Elf, Undead, and Gnome races. Oh well, they've got badass new races and the careers or "jobs" are totally wicked.

Woo, if anyone was thinking about buying it, hit it up. :B *LOGS IN*

Hi. You might be asking yourself what has happened to m0oo.com and why I wasn't really posting over ilo .

I was trying to combine some things together.. ILO is in a state where I can't update it anymore, there is way too many flaws in the code and it was based on a script that I didn't create. I won't be deleting the old posts, but I will disallow the logins.I am developing a API that will be working alongside with lastfm, livejournal, facebook, and mixi .

This forum is auto backup-ed on fridays, is more secure is more custom and includes an abstract little game. It works on mobiles and on ipods.

It's lightweight. and can run in a tiny window.

You will need UTF8 to navigate it tho . I haven't tested it on other browsers yet , but I know it works on firefox well .I hope you like the new forums . I am really sorry for the inconveniance.

High posters from the last forums gets a shiny name, it's the best I can give for now ^__^
